What was once an up and coming nation with a thriving lumber trade has now become an isolated area whose only exports these days seems to be slave traders and murderers. After a long uprising, the throne was lost to a warlord by the name of Meddra Eld’und who seized power in the year 1473. Under her control, and that of her descendants, Perasano quickly alienated itself by practicing slavery and not offering sufficient protection to the few merchants who did try to trade within its borders. Already strained relations with Perasano escalated when they openly declared their support for Osovya during The Vampire Wars. While the armies of Perasano did not actively march against their neighbors, they did offer support in the form of coin and supplies and also acted as a safe haven for Osovyan forces during the long war.
